i'm selling an 01 transmission for the d17, i bought it off ebay, but i came across "fidx's" 04 tranny from doing his k20 swap. So i'm using the 04 tranny instead. this trannies in good condition, no grinds, smooth shifting. The only problem is that it's missing the reverse light sensor which should be on your harness or previous trans anyway. spindles and throwout bearing a little rusty , but i'll clean it up like new.

This tranny is hard to find, so make me an offer...i'm looking for at least $150 bux and you pay shipping or pick it up for free. I live in LA, California

note: no clutch, no starter...helps lighten it up to lower shipping charges

sorry i been away cuz i work as a mechanic and the weekends been rough...i'm exhausted i responded to all ur pms...still for sale local pick up is preferred, plz keep in mind i live in LA...where the 10 and 605 meet speciffically, to my knowledge this tranny is fine and has no grinds, but i remember the 2nd gear grind issue was a factory thing...i havn't tested it out cuz i got it off ebay...but i'll asumme the previous seller was telling the truth. it's an 01 though, and @ work i service hundreds of these guys...they're tough trannies compared to the newer ones...the new batch 02-04 suck...i installed an 04 tranny with 18,500 miles on it and it had that stupid 2nd gear grind! only off of dropping the clutch too much.

hey im interested in this? so you want at least $150 for this? so this is just the tranny? no linkages and such? i have an auto and was wondering wat else would i need to complete this? and i live in norcal and i can pick it up down south from you(ill be going down there to get my friends rx7 yuned and to pick up some parts too for his car and mine.) so please lemme know

i assume it's an ex because of the listing previously, and the vin number starts with an hg2, i also have an lx tranny and it starts with an hg1

the tranny on the left is for sale...i'm putting in the 04 in my car to the right...so u can compare what's missing basically is the starter and reverse light switch...cheap parts on ebay...don't miss out

i have more updated pics...that tranny is just dusty, it should be find and free of grinding. are you doing a auto to manual swap? if so, there's threads all over the forum about this...so far i've got everything to do one for myself. the main peices you need for a complete tranny swap are the MT,
all manual tranmission parts...
1)starter
2)sub-frame
3)left tranny mount
4)front tranny mount
5)axles
6)shift cables found on hondapartsdeal.com
7)pedals
8)clutch
9)flywheel
10)misc, nuts and bolts...i spent about 30-40 bux on these =X

it's either dusty or greasy...nothing wrong with these trannies, u save paying 5 or 6 bills...even if there was something wrong, the cost of re-building one of these is insignificant to a re-manufactured or new one. i'm letting it go for 150 cuz i got bills to pay. can go wrong here...anyone interested still hit me up and i'll give you my cell phone number...i don't like going online all the time to do this posting stuff...
