i would think it to be pretty simple as long as you have a jack to get underneath the car... you're basically disconnecting a hose and attaching the cooler in-line. it just mounts in front of your radiator

how about manuals? what can we use as a cooler assuming that doesnt work for manual transmissions

you don't really need one, autos hold 4 QTs whereas manuals only hold one the way they work just put in some higher performance and you'll be fine.
