Testing Waters TSI Extreme Turbo Kit
Hey guys... I hate to do this, but it doesnt look like my car is going to sell as is. I just got off the phone with the guy who installed my turbo kit, and said he would be happy to take it back out for me. Before I do this, I would like to get an idea of whether or not anyone is actually interested in buying my kit.
Specs:
TSI Extreme kit with Greddy ProfecB SpecII
Been used for approximately 1,200 miles
Perfect shape...
If you could just please tell me if you are interested... on a scale of 1-10
and also how much you would pay for it.
Thanks guys, just trying to see if it will be worth my while...
Let the bidding begin!

I am really not sure if it will fit on the stock cat. The kit comes with a test pipe, that replaces the cat... But if you want to stay legal I would suggest a high flow cat.. which will run you right around $100.00

Allright guys... the kit is offically for sale now. My mechanic can take it off my car this weekend or next weekend. Start making your offers. I have the sale pending right now. I am giving a guy interested first dib. But if he doesn't want it... it's up for grabs.

I am pretty sure it will fit an automatic... but you might want to ask other members to make sure. You should expect 56% horsepower increase at 6psi.
I didn't put it on the dyno becuase I only had it on for about a month or so before i put the car in storage for the winter... But it has very very nice torque.. more than you need IMO. But keep in mind... it will not make your civic a rocket... just a very fast civic.

Woops.. i forgot about your install question. My mechanic took his time installing becuase he didn't want to mess anything up. I told him I would pay him for his time and that I wanted it done right. But since all the tweaks have been worked out for this kit already, becuase it has already been on my car, it won't take nearly as long.
We had to shave down the manifold to get it to fit... which you will not have to do... there might be a few other tiny things.. but whatever it was, it has all been worked out.
I am guessing its about an 8 hour install.
My kit comes with everything you need to run it, so you should only have to pay for the install, and not extra parts.

Nice. I'm getting mine (T25BB Extreme) in 2 days. Still have to wait until the end of the week to get my pod and gauges though. How much is the average install plus tuning for this thing? My dumb butt didn't figure that. I have around $400 for the install. Anymore then that, then I will have to wait.
