I like trying on glasses in the store in front of a mirror.

Items like this are hard to sell because you never know how they will look on your head. I'm sure they are authentic.

If your 'friend' gets caught discounting oakleys he will be fired (if he works for oakely) or oakley will take away the stores franchise (sp?) I have alot of close ties to oakely and I hear about this stuff all the time. Also Oakleys will be the same price at every store that carries them, Oakley sets their prices and stores can not discount them what so ever, they have to sell them for what Oakley tells them too. Just be ware.

I used to be a very big fan of Oakley and wore their shades for many years. Thru a sponsorship at a bike shop (this was during the early days of BMX freestyle) I started with a pair of the goggle looking things that were huge. That was back when they had the lifetime warranty on them. I had them replaced like 3 times due to things happening to them all for free. Then the thrid time I took the replacements to a local shop and traded them for some of the smaller ones, which i wore and liked for about 2 years... then I got some frogskins which I totally loved more than life itself. One day I broke them when riding, sent off for replacement and got back a new pair but they werent the same. They had discontinued my model. The new pair broke in a few weeks, very cheap plastic frames. Sent them to Oakley with a letter to get replaced and never heard back. They got the package because I got back the delivery card but they denied it.

So I stopped wearing them. I had not seen anything that they have done since that even came close to making me think I want another pair.

Thats my story and I am sticking to it.
