Rep Power: 0 turbo kit with everything for sale
Hey guys,
Posted that I am probably parting out my car and before I part out the turbo kit pieces I am trying to sell everything:
SF basic kit (t3 turbo, manifold, piping, intercooler, bonnet with bov, fuel pump)
and the extras:
turbo xs manual boost controller
apexi turbo timer
autometer z series a/f gauge and boost gauge
autometer dual pillar pod
oil pan that is already drilled and ready to put on the car too
I would like to get $2750 for everything, the kit is great, my dynos at 8psi were 183hp and 189tq, but I have been running at 9 and 10psi with no problems either.
Kit has been on my car since beginning of last August, not driven in the winter and is in great shape.
Anyone, anyone????
Melissa

Rep Power: 0 It will only fit the EX, manifold is a little longer than LX, DX, HX.
Not parting it out yet, seeing if I can sell it all and I am not going lower than $2750 for now, paid $2700 for turbo kit and with all of the stuff you get too it is another $500 in parts.
Anyone interested at my price?
BTW- thanks Gearbox for the props!

Rep Power: 0 Oh and I am only selling the kit b/c of another car, had the Civic 2 1/2 years now and want another challenge, however, my new challenge is a stock turbo 1.8T Jetta.
This is a great kit and believe me, there is such a difference in power with a turbo on a Civic, nothing like IMO. Would keep both cars if I could.

Rep Power: 0 I only have 32K on my car- 10K on the turbo kit.
I am not sure about longevity- maybe its the actual turbine that goes or fue pump burns out, but I also think that there is maintenance that needs to be done on them that people may not do- like maybe needing to replace any fuel lines or something like that.
I think that Catalyst from SF has a lot of miles on his turbo kit, he was the R and D for them, is his car still alive though? Haven't heard anything from him in a while about his car......

Rep Power: 789 Maintenance for any turbo setup is needed. If you get one from the factory for wrx, evo, etc the same thing applies. As long as you take care of it, they last a long time.

Rep Power: 0 Not selling it in pieces unless no one shows interest in the kit- sorry.
Turbos are the S&it IMO- it may not be for everyone but I think it is an upgrade worth having!

Rep Power: 0 Cmon no one wants to buy the whole kit? Look at the other stuff you are getting on top of a good kit! It is sitting in a box all wrapped up in newspaper ready to cometo its new owner.
I'll take $2000 plus shipping.
