Hey Everyone,
I am in a financial situation at the moment, and I have the option to sell either my motorcycle, or some sweet engine mods that will be making some awesome HP.
First of all this is stuff I bought from DH-Racing, and I am not selling it because I have lost any confidence in them, I am moving back to Canada and the move is going to cost upwards of $10,000+ which I was quite suprised at!
I am testing the waters on buyers before I decide to sell my bike, and I am willing to take a hit on the price I paid for these items (10-15% less than cost) in order to sell them.
Items I am considering selling, & the Price I Paid - you subtract 15%:
D17 Fully Built Block, forged internals, good for 20psi of boost, $2400
Ready to ship in 3 weeks.
Custom Intake Manifold, & 74mm Billett Throttle Body (Comes With Adapter Plate, TPS Sensor, TPS Harness Plug, Spacer Plate) Easily 25-30whp, $1000
Ready in 1 week.
Ported & Polished Head, with KMS Titanium Springs for high rpm power, good for 25whp N/A and 50whp Boosted (Ask Catalyst about that), $900 ($100 back if you send in your old head to DH-Racing)
Ready now!
Turbo Camshaft, regrind, Stage 2, add 15-20whp, $350
Ready in 1 week.
I am not selling my pulley, I like that!
Now, please no DH bashing, I am not looking to hear that, I am just thinking about selling my stuff for now because I need the money, and I if I do sell it, I will be buying it all again in 3-4 months when I have re-established myself with a new place & job.
Now, this setup will easily produce 370whp or more at 18psi, if anyone is looking for that much!
Just post inquiries on this forum and here is the link to DH-Racing:

They have just moved to Vegas, and their new shop is about up & running now, my block is the 3rd D17 that are building, and I am dissapointed that I am in this situation because I have looked forward to installing all this fun stuff for a while now.

Just an update, the estimated power for NA here would be about 160whp and more if used with an exhaust, header, & Intake.
Actually, I am thinking about installing the header, IM & TB to just see what kind of power I can get NA with my I/H/E setup. But the block is being built for a turbo setup, ie low compression.

Are these prices the lowest they will be?
Can you post a dyno from the company that is releasing the products? If they effectively performed R&D, they should have proof to back up their product, no?

Ershall, I don't have a Dyno for this stuff yet. It is from DH-Racing, their designs for the IM and P&P head & cam are based on the D16 Motor with some slight modifications to work on our D17's.
They seem to have had very good success with their D16 products, and are now producing new stuff for the D17 motors.
I don't see how a P&P head, or a Intake Manifold, or Throttle Body with a certain design for a D16 would produce less power with the same design when applied to the D17.
All of these products have been used for years with the D16 making proven power results - and now they are being produced for the D17's.
Now, as we know - these are new for the D17, and had orginally experienced some fitting issues. For example the first TB to go on a D17 required a spacer to be produced for someone who was testing it on their car. DH-racing was aware of this, and they made the spacer, problem solved, product fitting issue resolved.
And about the P&P heads, people still seem to be getting them tuned to produce the most power avaliable. Catalyst gained 50whp on his turbo setup from adding one of the DH-racing P&P heads. And obviously the gains for N/A will not be that much, 25whp gain properly tuned is reasonable.
And the prices - 15% less than orginal for new unused products are not planning on changing, anyway I have not completly decided to sell my stuff yet, I am in a great conflict over it at the moment. Hmmm, sell bike & have fast car, or keep bike & have slower car, it's a hard decision.

LOL, I am not trying to turn this into a debate. I am not here to prove anything, I just might be interested in selling some stuff if I have to, and I am looking to see if anyone is interested.

success on the D16? Agreed. New stuff for the D17? Disagreed: same ****, different motor (D16 and D17 and two different animals that, while the same in some areas, completely different as a whole).
Now being produced for the D17: agreed, unfortunately.
It's wasn't easy for DHR to sell these parts considering they have NO dynos to back up their claims and the fact that a spacer was neccesary leads me to believe that they figured the D16 application was usable on the D17...wrong....oops...SPACERRRRRRR!
The exact thing that happened with the damn pulley that you're so fond of.
The prices: 15% less than cost? DHR really bent you over and PnPed your ******* in that case....not sure about the motor..but the PnP Head and the cam are the same price he is selling them for or the same price they were advertized as. Nothing against you, but good luck selling products produced by a company with a tainted name (to say the least) on this website.
For the record, I'm not bashing you or DHR....just the way you are presenting your product as if you did not realize the controversy surrounding DHR and this site.

The sad reality that this site has found is that the PnP for NA is bored too much....bored a ful 1mm when it should have been bored 20 thousands of an inch....Seemed okay for forced induction when the hot tanking actually works and you don't ahve metal shavings in your head.
One of the few semi satisfied customers = catylist.....This is what I think needed to be posted in your for sale thread. Nothing against you and sorry for hijacking your thread.
im sure you still have receipts for this stuff....a scan of some receipts shouldnt be too hard to help improve peoples confidence in buying your stuff

Well thanks Ershall,
I see that you still have quite a hate on for DH-Racing, and I understand that they have some faults that will have to be made up for before that have a positive reputation on this site. I am not here to back up their claims or promote their products, I only have some stuff for sale.
The price I have marked needs to have %15 taken off: SOHC VTEC Regrind Cam; I paid $350, selling for $350-%15 = $297. Etc.
About the "bored 1mm", I think you mean 'milled 1 mm'. Milling is like shaving the face down on the bottom of the head, Boring is done to the ports of the head, and 1mm for that is nothing, I am sure that the head is bored way more that 1mm! Anyway, the head that was milled 1mm was to increase compression for a N/A engine it was not meant for a turbo engine, and the one I have was milled about 15thou, it was made for a turbo setup.
Perhaps you would like to clarify all the ways the D17 is 'completely different as a whole' from the D16, besides some obvious dimentions. I am not trying to sound snotty, but I have not actually looked for this info, please enlighten me.
