Rep Power: 0 K20A3: New LOW price!
K20A3 from my 2002 Civic Si:
Removed from my street car (I installed a K20A2). 14,000 miles. In PERFECT condition. Never raced, dragged, autocrossed or abused in any way. Always fed 93 octane gas. Oil and filter changed at 5 & 10K miles. Complete with throttle body, wiring harness, exhaust header and catalytic converter and ECU. Transmission NOT included. I can hook you up with a trans. A friend of mine in Charlotte has a trans he will sell for $650.00
Excellent starting point for a turbo or S/C project. The A3 is also a very good NA motor with good midrange torque. After swapping motors and running on a favorite "test" road of mine, I was surprised to see the A3 was .5-.7 sec. FASTER than the A2 (with Hondata) from 2500 to 6500rpm in 3rd gear (uphill section, same car, same mods, same trans.). The A2 doesn't gain an edge until the upper rpm.
The picture of the motor shows an "Acura" spark plug cover. Why? Because I wanted to keep the "Honda" spark plug cover when I swapped for the K20A2. I put the Acura cover on the K20A3 that came out of my Civic.
In Winston-Salem, NC.
Asking $1,500.00 for the motor. (trans sold separately if you need it - $650.00)
