Good call. I've heard that it will do more damage on a turbo car due to oil pump problems. After doing my own research, a lightened pulley is just not the way to go for more power. Too many things could go wrong for the few hp gains. Why didn't I listen to all you members trying to make me understand.

I think this is what Josh was trying to hide from us the whole time.
On a race motor, increased risk of bearing or crank problems is insignficant next to the risk of, say, detonation in the cylinder that could blow up the motor. So for a race block, we heartily endorse lightweight undampened crank pulleys.
But for a street-driven car, one that you might want to last a couple of hundred thousand miles, we do not recommend using a pulley without a harmonic dampener.

You mean the other pulley thread? Yeah, all that stuff scared Josh away permanently. I guess he finally gave up. Maybe I'll make a new post with all that stuff in it.
