K20A3 for sale

I have posted this before, but I still have the motor and with tax refund checks on the way, I thought this might be a good time to repost!

K20A3 from my 2002 Civic Si:

Removed from my street car (I installed a K20A2). 14,000 miles. In PERFECT condition. Never raced, never abused. Always fed 93 octane gas. Oil and filter changed at 5 & 10K miles. Complete with throttle body, wiring harness, exhaust header and catalytic converter and ECU. Transmission NOT included.

The picture of the motor shows an "Acura" spark plug cover. Why? Because I wanted to keep the "Honda" spark plug cover when I swapped for the K20A2. I put the Acura cover on the K20A3 that came out of my Civic.

In Winston-Salem, NC.

Asking $1,800.00

Not included. I know you can get motor mounts from Hasport and they might be able to supply things like subframes and axles as well. If not, you could source those thru junkyards. You could always go to the dealer to get them, but I would hate to see what you would be charged from the dealer.

Thanks. It's a good motor. Never dragged, raced, autocrossed or abused. Oil level never went down between changes. It has good torque and a few bolt-ons do wonders for the K20A3. I had the AEM CAI and manifold gasket with a larger exhaust "mid-pipe". The CAI really helps the mid-range torque and the exhaust seems to help the top end. The K20A3 is also a great start for turbo or S/C projects. It has a lower compression ratio than the K20A2 so it is less prone to detonation when boosted.

Bump time. I still have the motor and will consider offers. Asking price is a low $1,800.00 for a really good motor.

P.S. to my bump: This is a motor w/o tranny, BUT, I can hook you up with a tranny. I know someone nearby who has a tranny available.
