FS: Turbo Kit UPDATE PICS 1st post
UPDATE BELOW ORIGINAL POST
This is a long post, so read through it to the bottom w/ footnotes[*].
This is more or less to look at offers. The probability of selling is pretty high due to circumstances. I moved a few months ago and don't really use the car much, so I'm deciding to sell. I'd rather sell everything as a whole kit, but I'm pretty sure most can't afford that.
Feel free to post REASONABLE offers and ask questions. Individual pricing will be posted soon. (NOTE: This includes everything you will need including hardware, vaccuum lines, etc. ) If you don't feel like posting here, catch me on AIM: Boosted2k2.
EVERYTHING WAS BOUGHT BRAND NEW AND IS IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITION.
- Turbonetics T3/T04B upgraded and polished. Had it custom built to match
engine output (which it does perfectly)
- Stafford Fabrication Custom IC piping (same as Catalyst's new setup... allows for opposite end IC tanks) Not powdercoated, but I can powdercoat any color free of charge. Includes couplings and filter. Pipes were beaded at a shop here so they don't leak or move around, and probably never will.
- Stafford Fabrication Manifold and EX Downpipe (Flanged for any T3, and for a 35mm Wastegate. Wastegate is recirculated into the downpipe. Downpipe has no O2 bungs due to my setup.
- Spearco FMIC: 26x6x3" Core with mounting bracket. Inlet and outlet tanks on opposite sides. Fits behind the stock black grill with out too much shaving. Looks clean.
- TiAL 35mm wastegate. Has a .3Bar spring. Meaning that without a boost controller, this setup is made to spool 5psi out of the box, but with a boost controller (5psi - infinity).
- GReddy Type S Blow Off Valve
- GReddy PRofec E01: Multi Display Electronic Boost Controller with handheld controller, pretty accurate and user friendly. Data logs any three channels (even if you make them up) for three hours on a 8MB SD card. E-manage programmer (rids of the use of carrying around a laptop in
the car)
- GReddy E-manage w/ all harnesses: Controls Ignition Timing, Injector pulse, Auxilliary injector pulse, MAP signal, etc etc.
- Oil Feed and Return lines: All braided stainless steel lines with all necessary fittings.
- Weapon R Chrome Oil Catch Can w/ lines: Not so much in terms of catching oil as it is used to improve engine breathing. It gives the crancase proper ventilation that a lot of others haven't done (hence some have oil in the engine bay) I don't
- Full Return Fuel System: Truly Plug and Play [***]
- Modified Stock Fuel Rail
-Stainless Steel Return Lines
-Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator and Fuel Pressure gauge
-Brackets and all fittings
-Complete In-tank assembly with upgraded fuel lines and a Walbro 255lph fuel pump.
- GReddy Full Auto Timer (Turbo Timer)
- Gauges +: [****]
- Autometer Ultra Lite Oil Pressure Gauge
- Autometer Ultra Lite Boost Gauge (0-35psi)
- Autometer Ultra Lite A/F Gauge
- Autometer Triple Guage Pillar Pod
- KMS Intake Manifold
- Random Technology Hi Flow Catalytic Converter (50 State Legal) w/ primary and secondary O2 bungs.
- HPRacing Jspec Cat-back Exhaust.
- EX Sway Bar (if fitting all of this on anything other than an EX
- ALL HARDWARE INCLUDED
NOTES:
-Return Fuel System***: Can lower price if trading OEM parts (Stock Fuel Rail and In-Tank Unit w/ OEM pump)
-Gauges****: If you have a coupe with a grey A pillar, I will include mine (already drilled to fit wires) for trade of your stock pillar.

Below are prices for the whole kit. If anything is vague (and I bet some is), please get me on IM (Boosted2k2) and talk to me.The price of $4600 is for everything. Lower with trade for my required OEM parts. I'm dealing with people that want to buy the whole kit rather than parts first. If nothing reasonable comes out of it, then I'll make new prices and part out.
If you think my price is too high, I'm supplying the list of prices for retail and asking for the KIT. Parting out prices would be a little higher. For a rarely driven car, I feel I'm being more than fair on this deal for a one of a kind kit.
Suppose you were going to get an SF kit: $3000
Add all of this on:
External Wastegate
Polished and Upgraded Turbo
Fully converted Return Fuel System (Fuel Rail, Stainless Steel lines and pump)
Fuel/Ignition control
Electronic Boost Controller w/ logging and programming capability
Better fit/Look FMIC
Better Sounding/looking BOV that goes Psshhh and not whoosh
Engine breathing system
Intake manifold
Autometer Oil Pressure, Boost, A/F Gauges, and pillar pod
Stainless steel Oil return line
Every peice of hardware you need
I'm positive you are going to reach around $6000. The fuel and boost controlling system alone is $1500 brand new.
Take a look and come speak to me.

SS Oil Return:

Autometer Gauges & Pillar:

GReddy Profec E01 (Boost Controller/Emanage Programmer/Datalog):

I'm gonna post in here too!
I drove the car, it's just awesome. I don't know much about turbos and the like, but everything I do know I learned from Alex and his stuff....so what he's got is definitely some GREAT stuff. Wish I had the money, I'd buy it sooner then you can think about it!
**A little added bonus. Alex is a very trustworthy guy. If you buy his stuff, you know you'll get exaclty what he tells you, you are gonna get. And he knows SO much. So, if you needed help...he's your man.**

I have an LX, but everything fits EX/LX/DX. The only thing is that I need to quickly check the EX engine bay to make sure the piping fits in one spot. I will be doing that in a day or so. Although I am pretty sure it all works out. I'll keep everyone posted on that.
hey guys BUY THIS~ 99.9% of the miles on the kit are HWY miles from NJ to CT.
Turbo was never abused, in its short span of use.
This is a great deal for ne one, Ive been in the car and its very quick.

You're surprisingly the first person to ask about the E-manage. I thought tons of people would want one.
She doesn't know yet. She'll probably make fun of me and call me slow or something haha.

oh and alex... i know ur not taking a 350 dollar loss on the fuel rail, just cause u need a oem one.
if all u need is the rail to resort back to stock, then ill kick ur *** if u sell it for 350 instead of more.
my OEM fuel rail, wtih injectors- is sitting on my desk. come and get it , its urs.

Maybe I should clear up the fuel system info.
The $350 is not a price that is just in trade for the fuel rail.
You get:
My fuel rail, all return lines, fuel pressure regulator, 255lph fuel pump, my WHOLE INTANK UNIT, all the fittings etc etc.
in return you give me $350 and:
Your fuel rail and your whole intank unit.
Without a trade, it will cost me around $350 to replace OEM parts. I'm not exagerrating at all on this price, so don't think I'm trying to screw anyone over. If you want to keep your OEM parts, you still get mine and the rest of the fuel system at a price of $700, which allows me to replace my OEM parts without losing money.
For the EX owners, I'm checking the EX tonight for fitment. I will post on it later. And provide pics of the kit later.
If the streets aren't icy tonight, maybe I'll post a video tomorrow. Or at least some soundclips.

Pictures are updated and in the first post. I didn't take pics of everything because my camera batteries were dying, but all of the main important components are there.
I apologize if I led anybody on by this, but the intercooler piping does not fit an EX, I checked this morning. The only interfrence is the ABS modulator. I'm assuming that all EX have ABS. The only way to get the piping to fit would be to relocate (not hard exactly), but then someone would have to rebend all new lines and I'm sure that is expensive and not worth it. Other than that, everything else would fit.
I'm going to start parting out in a few days Anybody that sent me PM's on parts, I still have your names and everything. You can still PM me and IM me again to make sure I don't forget if you want.
I'm getting old.

Contact me on a meeting or something. I don't want to really hold out too long because I have a bunch of people willing to buy parts if it doesn't go through. But I have no problem with your inspecting it. I'm totally confident in the kit.
