FS- JVC 12" Subs - Warren G Series!!! PICS! LIMITED/RARE
I bought these with intentions of going into shows with my system. Things have changed since I installed turbo and now want a complete race monster lol... I'm getting there with mods but I am selling some of my electronic stuff. These are EXTREMELY loud subs, louder than my Polk Momo stuff...1000Watts, 2 Voicecoils per sub, can run 1ohm, 2ohm, 4ohm. I'll include some short 12awg speaker wire to help with installation. These are EXTREMELY nice looking subs and I would have never sold them if I wasn't trying to cut down weight in my car.
They sell new for 180 per sub. These have less than 5 months on them. Selling each for $100. $150 and you get both, PM me and we'll work out shipping details. If you buy both I can also add a discount to the shipping.
Here's a pic of what my trunk looked like...

yeah i misunderstood the last question anyway... that box no longer exists, i jus made it in my garage...
i meant yes to giving a dual 12" sealed box with it anyway...
but, as far as i know... i have a local sale pending... feel free to make offers if u want them...

just to clear something up, a single sub CANT run at 1 ohm, 2 ohm, or 4 ohm, unless its found a way to defy teh laws of physics.
also, dont mean to screw your sale, but here they are for 95 dollars brand new with a warranty:

Sorry, new at Best Buy they were 180. Keeping them anyway, but also...that site you gave, shows how to wire a single sub in 2ohm mono.
"Option 1: Both voice coils wired in parallel. This is the ideal load for many subwoofer mono amplifiers. In the case of a dual 4 ohm subwoofer, this would produce a 2 ohm load."
So is there some trick that you know that makes that a lie?

Wait I see what your saying now, sorry, misunderstood you before. The SAME sub running either 1,2, or 4ohm is impossible. I know what you mean now. It would either be "2 and 8", or "1 and 4". Sorry bout that bro!

actually though, now that i remember, there is one way to wire up a dual 4 ohm sub as a 4 ohm load and not ruin it. really famous audio nerd named stephen kephart devised a way to make teh q of a subwoofer variable using a potentiometer.
in a sealed enclosure, depending on size, a subwoofer responds to something called Q. its a mathemtical equation of sorts devised from teh enclosure vs. the subwoofers Qts, Fs, and VAS. teh enclosure that is usually (note i say usually) most desirable is one with a q of .707. as teh volume of the box increases, Q goes down. usually a lower q will yield far better efficiency and lower end response, and sometimes sound boomier and less defined, while a higher q becomes less efficient, lacking of low end response, and have somewhat better defenition. when dealing with a dual voice coil subwoofer, it is possible to hook one coil up to teh amp, and teh other coil to a potentiometer to therefore mess with teh coil's inductance and yield variable q ratings thereby making for an interesting toy, althogh output and power handling are effectively cut in half.
what i mean to say is, none of us will ever do this so it doesnt really matter
ill stop my nerd rant now.
