i thoguht oem was just a keyless entry, they offer a security system too?

yup, keyless entry is different from secuirty. actually all hondas are prewired for the OEM security system. its just whether or not you hook up the "brain" to it. that brain is this system im selling. just plug itinto your car and you have a secuirty system.

do you have to have the oem deck in there to work it? or would it work with my aftermarket deck??

and when it goes off, is it just the horn and lights? and does it include keyless entry?

keyless entry is a whole different system. yes, this security system will work with any stereo. when it goes off, it is horn and lights.

hey i have a dx, does it come with the remotes and what not? may be a stupid question but i have gotten screwed before. So its remotes and a brain right?

no remotes. remote entry is a different system and that has the remotes. security system comes with brain and LED.

hmm guess it cant work cause i got no remotes to begin with
just asking cuase the alarm from honda for the dx comes with brains led harness and remotes.... now i am curious why did you take it out and what did you use to control it if you did not have remotes?

my LX came with remote entry but no alarm. i bought the alarm system myself and that is just the brain and LED.
