Tell ya what, there is something that we do over on the corvetteforum.com from time to time called "pay it forward" (gee wonder where we got that name huh ). This is where a member offers something of value to them to fellow members for free. I think that since it is Christmas and all I will offer this brand new muffler up for FREE(buyer pays shipping though). I have given away items on the corvette site a couple of times and have always been repayed in some indirect way so I definitely believe in the system.

I would like to give this to somone whe needs it rather than someone just trying to make a buck on a free item so please keep in mind that some of us are better off than others and this is the time to think of your brothers and sisters here on the forum (OK enough preaching).

Reply to this thread with the reason that you NEED the muffler and why you should get it. I will give it away for the cost of shipping before Christmas. Let the Holiday Season begin........................................

I truthfully can not believe that no one needs a muffler.......huh? I will run this thread until Friday night and then will sell the muffler to another 7th gen owner that works for me.

I really appreciate your effort with this pay it forward thing. I think your setting a good example for the rest of us. I cant believe that no one wants it either. I personally dont need one (proud member of the HKS family), but I know someone out there must've needed this and probably didnt see it.

Yeah I changed the title to try and get it noticed but did not want to put "free muffler" because then everybody, no matter if they need it or not, would be all over the thread. Like I said I will leave it on until Friday and if there are no takers then I will sell it locally and feel good that at least I tried to do something good. I will try to give something else away next month but dont know if it will be this good. Oh well, thanks for the support brother....................

Great idea...I don't think anyone "needs" a muffler though. I would rather see you make some money from it. Thats my present to you..not taking it and letting you make some cash

I do however "need" a turbo kit if anyone else is in a giving mood. I'll pay forward times 10 for that

Being inspired by ccajun... I have a set of reverse indiglo gauges I'll give away for the cost of shipping (wich can't be much..I'm thinking like 5 bucks)

You know what......now that I think about it to "need" a muffler probably indicates that you had a blowout or dropped a muffler. Actually what I meant was I would like for someone who would really like to have it or has been wanting to get a muffler but just cant afford it to chime in and we will give this damn thing away to a fellow member. I got the muffler today ccajun. Looks great and i already have a guy scheduled to install it on my friends ride for free. Thats including the piping aftre the axle. And we are working on getting a CAI for him before Christmas. Just wanted to keep you guys updated. I really hope others catch on to this
