Thinking about putting a car alarm in a 2001 Honda Civic.

I had my Honda 2001 Civic backed into by an idiot neighbor. I was wondering how the system works and how much it would cost? Or would it be more feasible to get a Nanny Cam to monitor the car? The idiot racked up a $300 plus repair bill and that is just pulling the dent to where it supposed to be.

Make a police report?

Contact your insurance and let them know, they can go after the other persons insurance company...

People tend to ignore car alarms here

Dash-cam? 4 of them facing all directions? Running 24/7?

Car alarm will just let them know they hit it, too late then.

Alarms and cams won't keep people from hitting your car.

Bust out a lawn chair, load up a cooler of beer......sit in front of the car and clean your shotguns.

That's true but if I get a tag number and picture of the car/truck without them knowing it will be harder for them to hide.
