99 civic lx tail light/ plate fuse
99 civic lx tail light/ plate fuse
Hello,
So when i turn on my head lights at night my turn signals dont turn on. Only when i use the blinker . Besides that they stay off. Same with the tail lights. When i brake they light up but not when i turn themin at night. I dont want to get a ticket so i checked all fuses. And i replaced the tailight/plate fuse and every time i turn on the headlight , the fuse blows out. How can i fix this?

If you own a Honda Civic for long enough, at some point you are going to have to change a fuse. Anytime part of the electrical system fails like power windows, power doors or moonroof, check to see if a fuse is blown before you take it to a mechanic. Of course you could always have a mechanic do it, but you will get charged no less than $100 to replace a $3 dollar fuse. Since replacing fuses isn't hard, it's best to learn how to do it yourself.

im haveing the same problem. try checking for broken or "cut" wires, maybe bad ground, try unpluging the rear tail lights and corner lights to see if it still blows when you put new fuse in......i did all that and my car still blowing fuse.... does any one else have suggestions for us?
