Post ground wire kits

do ground wire kits actually help? I saw a kit on another site and was wondering if theyre worth buying.

they helped some with lights dimming, but the main thing is that if you have any kind of system. our stock grounds are ~5.5ga (15mm^2 metric gauge) i put 4ga on mine. if that 15mm^2 cable is designed to handle the car's load, any additional load you put on it will need bigger cables. i think it's funny when people put 4ga, 2ga or 1/0ga power cables on their amps and then leave the stock ground cables on the battery. where ever your smallest cable is, that's your power bottleneck.

Buying? No.
Making? Yes.

Just pick up some 4 gauge wire, some ring terminals and replace them yourself.
