amp

My head unit has 4 RCA audio output (fr,fl,rr,rl).

Can i leave the speaker connected to the head unit and i just use the 4 RCA output wires to connect to the amplifier or do i connect the speaker straight to the amplifier?

which one ...

Amplifier -> headunit -> speakers

or

Speaker -> amplifier -> headunit

If both are valid, which one is a better choice?? how does it affect the sound quality??
