Moderation notes: Copied from another thread, since information is good enough

The "before" wheel/tire combo (on the left) is the OEM size for a 6th gen EX: 14x5 ET45 with 185/65R14 tires.

here's a visual representation of how much they'll stick out (this is assuming the edge of the tire is even with the inner edge of the fender lip and 1" wheel clearance). Your best bet is to stick with that ET38 to ET45 offset. I chose 215/50-15 tires to have minimal impact on speedometer error.




ET38's will put the outer edge of the tire just about even with the outer edge of the fender lip




ET45s will give you a bit of a safety margin during strut compression so your tire wont rub the fender, since a bit of negative camber (top of the tires going inward) is introduced during suspension compression
