Rim Help

Hello I'm hoping you guys can help me determine the company that made my rims? I need the center caps and need to buy the exact fit for them and I have no info besides they say inside made in Thailand, JWL and VIA stamped on them. They are 7 spoke rims that were sprayed black by previous owner and they are 16's for my 1998 honda civic.
Please Help.

I looked all over this post but I can't see a single damn wheel anywhere, so I got hold of my friend here to help look:

JWL and VIA stamped on them.

Re: Rim Help

Just spent the last hour or so searching. My google-fu is strong, but not strong enough to find those rims, man.

edit: they're neither the enkei's nor the motegi's you suspect they are. Both of those rims lack the bolts on the inner lip. They're closer to the Motegi FF7's, but your rims have 4 bolts between each spoke, whereas the FF7's have 3. Also, the spoke design is slightly different. The FF7's spokes don't taper as much as yours.

Thanks for the help I found same ones you did and they are close to FF7 but have an extra bolt...I will get the paint off and see if there is anything I notice.
Thanks for helping.

Re: Rim Help

Pull a wheel off and look on the inside of each spoke (and everywhere else) for a name?

Re: Rim Help

I wouldn't count there being a brand/model name stamp on the rim, but that's just what I've personally observed on rims. You could probably narrow your results based on rim diameter, width, offset, and maybe load, which should be stamped on the rim. Combine that with the 4x100/114.3 bolt pattern. That's still a long shot, though

Re: Rim Help

Measure the center hole, buy caps the same size, problem solved. Am I the only one here with a ruler in my garage?

Re: Rim Help

Probably. I have a tape measure. For that measurement, I'd prolly use my digital caliper.

I've been looking everywhere for any information on these wheels. The set I have on my miata are identical, they're Enkeis, if you believe the symbol on the center caps. I may be a few years late but I'll attach a picture, hope this helps!
