New Wheels Speedo off
Hello,
New here searched but didn't see anything about this so forgive me if I missed it and please point me to where I need to be. My wife has a 2011 civic DX (very base model). The other day I bought snow tires and wheels from tirerack. I opted not to have the TPMS sensors installed as I have gone a great many years checking the tires myself and did not feel the need to waste the money for snow tires. Anyway I drove it afterwards and noticed that the TPMS light did not come on. After researching I see it may take 10 miles and I didn't go that far so that may answer that. But the larger problem is that now the speedo is off by about 30 mph (60ish (2500rpms 5th gear) it reads about 90) The tires and wheels are the exact same size minus any minor difference in tread since the snow tires are new. I can see a couple of mph but not 30. I can't imagine what that would do the the odometer long term. Anyone have any ideas as to what the cause is? Or better how to fix it?
Thanks

Re: New Wheels Speedo off
You got the speedo set on KPH instead of MPH.
Find and hold the button on the left side of the dash. See your owners manual.
These buttons.
(I couldn't find a pic of the end of the dash quickly.)

Re: New Wheels Speedo off
That was it thank you. Sorry for the dumb error! Don't know how that got changed. Must have been when I was resetting the oil life.
