2012 EX 16" to 15" for Winter?

hi folks. I have a 2012 EX with 16" mags and I own 15" rims, which I'm thinking to use for winter tires. Mechanics tell me there's no issue. I just want to run it by the forum. I don't have TPMS.
Thx.

Unless you compensate for the smaller diameter wheel with a larger side profile tire, your odometer and speedometer will be slightly off. The 15'' wheels also need to have the the correct hub to match your new 2012, if they don't have the correct hub you could compensate with hub centric rings.

Would going from 205/55R16 to 195/65R15 work then?

Yes, with the correct rims. This is the winter size I'll be using as well with OEM Honda 15" rims.
