Recommended Wheel size for 16inch rims

Recommended Wheel size for 16inch rims
Hey guys, need help on choosing a tire size for my civic. I currently lowered my car to 1.5 inch and have a 16 inch rim. Would like to kno which tire size is recommended for my civic? I was thinking 205/50/R16? is that too big?

I have the same size rim and (had) that tire size, it is going to be too big, you'll get rubbing in certain situations. I went to a good shop and a guy looked at the car and said you need 205/40/16s...it's made all the difference in the world. fyi my car is on Eibach Sportline springs

Standard 16" is 205 45 16, if the car is properly lowered that should work size it is a plus 2 config.
