Lightbulb Steelies without the caps?

I saw a few members rockin' just their black steelies without the hub caps. I was wondering what most of you thought about this?

Re: Steelies without the caps?

Well personally I like the stock hubcaps. I still have them on there. I have seen quite a few cars (even new) with steelies and no caps. I guess it makes them look blacked out sort of. Looks ok on a black car so it all blends in, but other than that I say stick with the hubcaps or upgrade.

Re: Steelies without the caps?

Well some depends on where they live i guess. If I saw that in Ohio or nothern IL I would say that are triing to protect their rims from snow, road salt, and whatever hides in the cold. Cause cold does wierd things to meddle and the salt just eats a way at rims very slowly, but if I saw that in Cali or AZ I would say they like the look, God knows why. So they if they live up north they haven't had time to switch them out yet
