I got out of class and was on my way to the local court in my neighborhood. When I arrived, I noticed that my rear left tire was pretty flat. So, after paying the Sheriff the inspection fee for my front tint I was caught for, I headed to a local gas station.
Upon arrival, I gathered some change and then pumped air into my tires. I went straight to the rear left tire and the gauge on the pump didn't move at all! No pressure at all! So I got it back to about 35-36psi and then proceeded with the rest of my tires. The rest were all fine. Then, i came back to the rear left tire to double check on it and when I pumped it again, within the 30-60seconds or so, the tire had lost about 5psi!!!
Well, on my way back home, I heard a loud metal clinking noise.. not sure what it was, but I pulled over and thought that maybe I had run over something or that someone had threw something. Nothing. When I arrived home, I checked out my rear left tire and it was completely flat. Then I told myself, "oh crap.. I think that was my tire that blew up." Thank God that I was only running local errands and that I wasn't on the freeway.
Well, I might get flamed, but I have no money to get my suspension fixed up. I'm currently dropped on Tein S.Tech on stock struts! haha. And I noticed some camber issues a few weeks back and then noticed horrible shaking while driving anywhere from 20MPH - 45 MPH. I knew it.
I ordered the SPC camber kit earlier today at TrueHonda before finding out about my tire blowing up on me. When I get my check, I'm going to get new set of tires and then get that alignment done. Oh, and I'm going to get bigger tires. They were 205/40 and was wondering what size would you guys recommend me? I don't want low-pro tires anymore!
Here are some pics.
