Re: Honda Fit HFP wheels

I'd say you need a spacer to get em over the brakes... 55 is a bit on the high side.

Re: Honda Fit HFP wheels

55mm offset and a 205 will NOT work. You would need spacers and lug stud replacement to be longer.

Ours is 44mm and my race wheels are 38mm and 15X6. They will not accomodate a 225/45 R15 with a 38mm so a 55mm 16x6.5 will defenitely be TOO high.

Someone please prove me wrong because for $106, I'd buy a set in a heartbeat. I think they would look great!

Re: Honda Fit HFP wheels

I came across this while searching for pictures on 7th gens.

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread...ostid=21442675
So it fits on the previous gens w/o spacers. If our setup is similar to those, then it might just work.

Also to note, i've also seen these go on sale on a stock (aside from wheels) 4dr 7th gen. If it is as difficult as dsscottb01 posted earlier, I do not think the seller would not go through the trouble.

Re: Honda Fit HFP wheels

+45mm is the highest recommended offset for 7th gen and most civic models. Isn't it obvious the wheels are so cheap because those wheels have a fitment issue and he can't get rid of them? How much more will you need to spend on spacer/adapters? And not only that, be prepared to deal with vibration... My 2 cents.

Re: Honda Fit HFP wheels

Well I did it on a 7th gen here out in Canada! Heres some pics. I put them on with out using spacers or longer studs. Just bolted up no problems. No rubbing or hitting the struts.

Re: Honda Fit HFP wheels

Car looks great! I have the same rims and love the look. Just curious as to what size tires are you running? i have 205/45/16 but i'd like to go up to a 205/50/16 but i'm worried about rubbing. Is your car lowered?
