Help! Tire-Fender Contact

Just bought a 2002 EX Coupe. Car looks great and came with Exel 17" wheels running 215/45ZR17 BF Goodrich rubber. Problem is a nasty wheel-fender rub on the rear passenger side during left turns (Have not found any evidence on the other wheel wells. Pulled the wheel to make sure nothing was obviuosly broken. No apparent trouble. Tires appear to lign up under all the fenders. Don't know if the wheels needed a higher offset, if the tires are just too damn big for the car or if the car was lowered and a higher spring would take care of it. (See pics)

Question - how can I tell if the car has been lowered through different springs? Is there a key measurement I can check?

Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

imo, it looks like it was lowered an inch. You have two options for the rear tires, either get a camber kit, and take it to an alignment shop and dial in as much negative camber as you can safely run, or you can roll the fenders.

Excuse my ignorance, what do you mean by "roll the fenders"? Bend the flange of the fender seam at the wheel well up?

Yup. There are special tools that do this, and you can also do it the old fashioned way with a baseball bat. I went the bat route and have not had a problem since.

dang that sucks, me and my friend both run 215/45/17 and hes lowered a inch, and im still 4wheelin it but yeah you are def lowered. but yeah take the baseball bat route, and you'll be good.
