So in rare scenarios my car pops much like my friends 2000 celica gts 2 zeze with a less restrictive cat in exhaust it pops when it hits 4k rpm I know I wouldn't get the same performance or feel but I would like to find a exhaust relatively cheap with the same type of pops and crackles I currently have a 05 civic lx d17a1 please help me out thank you.

You need to tune a fuel map to get that exhaust characteristic.

So I'd have yo take it to a dyno and get it tuned to have left over gas from it running rich so I'd get that backfire?

Close, first you would need to spend near $1000?? for a programmable ECU for the car. Dino time and custom fuel map to over rich deceleration likely couple hundred more.

At that point your going to want to remove the catalytic converter and resonator and get a old school cherry bomb glass packed “muffler”.

Maybe start with unplugging your Air/Fuel sensor and your 02 sensor. Your engine will default to a richer state, Also seen people install a water temperature sensor into the air box and unplug the existing sensor connecting that one instead so it always “reads” 100 degrees colder than actual and further dumps more fuel into the cylinders.

All those steps will overheat your catalytic converter to the point it causes a fire just like you see those Lambos do when the drivers keep blipping the throttle to get the afterburns.

Cars that hat are on fire make a lot of pops and crackles.
