Is there any way to remove scratches from the plastic door panels and trim pieces? Sanding or some such?

I tried using a lighter but it lightened my black plastic a little bit. Plan to try to use PlastX next, but not worried about it til summer.

depends on color and what you plan on doing with it you can try really find sand paper like 1000grit or higher but it might change the apperance some..you may have to do the whole thing or repaint it..I have not tried it on door panels yet. Also are you talking the inside or outside panels and trim?

Thanks for the ideas. I'm talking about the inside door panels. The part that covers the lock, window mechanism and speakers. The bottom part gets beat to hell from being kicked all the time.

Sanding and painting or just a light sand may work.. not sure.
