I have a 2002 civic coupe ex
i was wondering if it was considered an EM2 if its not jdm

Yes, any 2001-2005 civic coupe is considered an em2.

In Japan they only offered a Es1 and Es2 for the 7th generation civic, which are sedans.

Yes. The 4th, 5th, 6th letters in the VIN number are the commonly referred to chassis codes.
