New Civic owner
I have a 02 civic lx coupe, and I'm looking to do a few things to it. I want to get some more power out of it but don't want it to be loud or flashy, so I'm wondering where I should start and where I can find parts online. Any help would be great and the car is completely stock right now. Thanks.

The d17 doesn't have power. It's great with fuel economy, and since you live in CA it would be a pain to turbocharge as you'll have to get it smogged.
I do hear you can swap the engine and make it carb legal so it is totally legit, but I would go with the swap to a k20 to give it a hefty 200 HP, versus a small turbo set up of 150HP?
My honest opinion keep it stock and save the money on something worth it, like a house payment.

Safety experts recommend seats that have a 5-point harness and front harness adjusters. If your child will be rear-facing, the harness straps should be at or below the shoulders and there should be no more than a 45 degree recline. it prevents your child from getting hurt at the time of accidents. The Convertible car seats are easy to install and its always better to install the convertible car seats in the back seat of the car.
