Ticking sound?

I have an 04 civic that just started making a ticking sound at and and up. The car has 104000 miles so I'm guessing its either the timing belt or maybe valves? it's about the time to do the routine maintenance on her anyway. Here a video I know the sounds not the greatest but maybe it will help

Re: Ticking sound?

try the DIY valve adjustment in the DIY section then go from there. Sounds like the valves are a little off though. If it was timing belt issues your car prolly wouldnt even run.
