Rep Power: 0 New to the build world
Hi everyone, I have an ej2, I am new to basically everything. I would like some sort of assistance and understanding of what can be done and what I can do. All I want to do to the car for now is get some coilovers, cat back system, RAM intake, headers, add fog lights, and put some HID headlights.
What i want to know are recommended brands for these things, what else can I do to the car. Anything I should know about the car. I'm here to learn and begin the build not bought life. Also if anyone can tell me about engines, I was recommended to drop a k series into it.
Thanks alot!

Welcome to the site!
Suspension: Good Brands Include
Progress
PIC
Tein
KW
Ground Control/Koni
Eibach
Exhaust: Check youtube for different exhaust and what you think sounds the best.
Intake: Not much technology here, whatever you find.
HID: Do a retrofit. Read more on that here www.theretrofitsource.com also buy your supplies from them. While doing the retro you can paint or customer the light how you like. After the retro is done finish your headlights off with a polishing kit.
Yes, K series is the hot engine to swap into just about anything. K20A2 being the type S motor and the K20A1, and K24 being the lower hp but still a good swap option (especially with boost).
Or just go straight to the J Swap for V6 power!

For suspension I would need something that I can have the option to go pretty low but also perform well on crappy California roads
