92 Civic EG hatch running rich (D16)

my hatch has been running rich since i bought it, oil smells like gas and the cold air intake filter smells of gas, havent checked the spark plugs yet but if i gap them more will they burn off more fuel? its a d16 swapped into the CX hatch with a del sol ecu i was told...assuming because the d16 came from a del sol but i dont know....


anyone have any input?

Bump any little input would be helpful guys...don't know why it's running rich don't want to mess the engine up

You 1st need make sure the ECU is from that vehicle after that make sure fuel pressure isn't too high injectors working properly double check spark plugs mass air flow and kind of work from there

Ok cool I was told the ecu was from a del sol, I'm assuming because the engine is from a del sol too? Not sure

but as far as the mass air flow how do I Check if it's working?
