Man im loving my civic.

well my first car was a 89 mustang 2.3 back in feb, only lasted me 6 months.
then i drove my moms expedition who she left to me (she passed away :/ )
i deliver pizza for pizza hut and i had been looking for a civic for the longest. litterally texted 400 people trying to trade for a civic. finally yesterday i got one
its a 95 civic dx (i think its a dx, it has manual windos and mirrors locks)
my expo was a 99 and had 235,xxx miles
the civic is a 95 all stock stickshift 131,xxx miles 4 door and i love driving it freaking awesome.
got a few questions though
can i get an alarm with an unlock and lock button for my car?
my car locks when i turn it on and unclocks when i turn off, i would like to lock it when im out my car.
any advice?

Re: Man im loving my civic.

if you already have power locks, then an alarm will be easy to make them open/close when arming or disarming.

Re: Man im loving my civic.

so there has to be some sort of power lock actuator motor already installed (probably aftermarket). its just a matter of tapping the power wire to the new alarm unit. that way the alarm remote will activate the locks.

Re: Man im loving my civic.

im pretty sure an EX cluster from your same model year would plug in and give you a stock tach. just find one with similar mileage if you care. search ebay for '95 civic cluster'

Re: Man im loving my civic.

technically there should be a way, even the electronic clusters can be altered. on the older ones, i think you use a drill to the odo cable to turn it lol. i have no idea but i know there is a way. its prolly easier to find one on ebay with similar miles to yours.
