Rough idle. nothing on the net about this.

I have a 94 cx with the d15b7. 2 days ago my ignition coil died and i flooded the engine nearly 9pm so i couldnt get a new one. the next day i tried turning it over and had no compression, i supose from gas in the oil and wet spark plugs. so i put the new coil in new plugs. the only way i could get compression back was putting a bit of oil in each cyliner then started nearly after 5 seconds. i got an engine flush done and all new oil but the idle still surges from 900-1200 . compression tests show 168-163-175-164. i have no idea why the idle is still surging any ideas?

See if the coolant is low in the radiator.
The FICV needs to be HOT with engine coolant, and low coolant level can affect it.
Vacuum leaks could do it too. Did you knock any hoses loose?

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me. But if that doesnt work, go here http://www.d-series.org/forums/gener...l-surging.html

Looks like a lot of people have issues with idle surging in the d15b7. It's strange though because neither mine nor my step brothers have ever have idle surge problems, and we both have b7s
