Picked up a 94 civic eg hatch. It has a d16z6 motor in it. 5speed.. It's not running. Did a compression test and the numbers are not good. Might just get a rebuilt cylinder head.. OR What motors can I put in my car?? My friend has the same car with a b18 and it's fast.. Found a 91 integra ls b18,DOHC 5speed.. but it has a cable clutch?? Never got into honda's .. cheers

you can put any B series in your car. and your friends car should be pretty quick my brother had that bulid for a while and it was quick we beat SRT4s and hung with evo 8s & 9s

yes you can use a b series. the b18 is non vtec if its stock but still has power. your car should be hydro trans and if that is cable you will have to get a kit. online to swap to cable.
