lining up a new radiator support?! help
lining up a new radiator support?! help
so back in january i wrecked my 94 honda civic in the front. the damage was not to bad but did have to get a new radiator support. now that i have the car torn apart and my new radiator support ordered. i need to know how to line up and center the new one so it can be welded to the car. what i was thinking about doing is measuring the center of the car and running a piece of tape along the center line then do the same on the radiator support. i doubt this is how you do it so please help i need my car back.
Re: lining up a new radiator support?! help
Once you break the welds and pull the old core support off you'll see where to put and weld the new one on. The frame pieces you're welding to will be a different color where the old core support was (unpainted).
