hey i'm sorry i don't know the answer to your problem, but I was wondering if maybe you could help me with mine. I just got a 95 dx and the steering is stiff as crap. I can't find the reservoir and my research online says because it didn't come with it for a few years. do you have power steering?

If you dont see a white resevoir real close to the pump you dont have power steering..They arent hard to see.
As far as the idl to the thread starter... you can clean out the screen on your IACV on the back of the manifold, if that doesnt help possibly a map sensor on top of the throttle body... both pull easily and can br eached easily..if something is defective i may have something around.
