Torn between rebuild or start fresh, 94 civic
94 honda civic LX 4dr
We had a bad snow storm and when exiting the highway car spun out and when into the guard rail and then spun back around and hit the back. Father-in-law took a look at it. From what we can see it looks like the radiator core support if bent and radiator is pushed back. Nothing is leaking, least from what I can tell. So that will either need to be bent back into place or completely replaced. Also both fenders are pretty messed up and bent inward. Both bumpers are gone. Headlights, corner lights and left tail light need to all be replaced. There might be more, but don't know.
Going to try to get an estimate tomorrow, but depending on the weather might have to be Tuesday. From parts I've researched and figuring labor and painting, I'm thinking it's going to be 1,500 to 2,500 if not more. I know if I do it myself I could cut that down but don't know what all I would be able to do realisticly.
I have also done some research on getting a newer car, newer as in anything in between 98-04.
Main thing I wanted to ask is opinions of others that may have had something similar happen or just see what you guys would do. Either pony up the money to throw into the car or get a newer one and start again.
Personally I would like to be able to fix it up but even better than before and make improvements, but don't know if that's even possible on a limited budget.
Let me know your thoughts and thanks for any help.

Re: Torn between rebuild or start fresh, 94 civic
Well, it is over before it even started. Went and got estimates and it's going to fully cost about 4kto 5.5k to completely fix. No one will just hang the radiator core support because they want all parts through them. So yeah.
Luckily I was able to find a replacement car. 2001 Honda Civic LX 4dr. Man, 137k on it. Well, that's how it goes I guess. We'll see what happens with that car.
