Rep Power: 0 b18c1 rebuild forged pistons... turbo or nos?
ok this may be a little long ...... i have a 94 civic dx sedan 5spd ... i just bought a 95 integra gsr 4 dr 5spd and i ripped the b18c1 swap out of it. it had 205k miles on it and was in need of a head gasket and it felt like the rings were fried also ... it had no sack whatsoever my stock d15 had more power than this thing....
Well all that said ... Im going with srp forged pistons and eagle rods and having the machine shop bore it surface the deck and they are gonna polish the crankshaft since im gonna be reusing the same crank. i was just unsure on what compression ratio to go with i may eventually turbo it after its in my car and i get more cash or i may just through some nitrous in it instead
the bottom line is what comp ratio would be best if i was to go turbo what would be good for nitrous and whats the best for all engine
my options with a .020 bore is 9.0:1 .....10.5:1 ... 11.0:1 ... or 12.0:1
i would really appreciate any input. thanks for taking the time and reading this
