95 1.6 hard to start

I have a 95 1.6 civic it turns over for say 20 seconds sometimes before it will actually start. Does it have a pre-injector? and if so where is it located. thanks in advance.. btw it runs fine when it finally does start.

The fuel pump should prime when you turn the key forward before you start to turn it over. It should make a slight whining noise. I'd get someone to test your fuel pressure.

Go through the routines.

Check Fuel Pressure, check your spark and your rotor buttton if it is loose it will have a delayed firing, I know from a personal mistake ~.~
