my battery died from leaving the lights on for a while on my 89 civic lx. I tried to jumpstart it off my friend's maxima and when i hooked up the cables the engine wouldn't even turn over like it was shorted out or something. I tried to jump it off my friend's malibu as well and it did the same thing and no there's no charge at all left. Any ideas as to why the jump wouldnt work?

look in ur relay box in ur engine bay make sure ur relays and fuses are good....
