yeah...the allure of the Si is an actual engine in it, so if you're looking to do a swap, just get an ex for the options, or a DX for a real stripping down...or send the engine to me, I'm sure I can give it a good home in my DX

Really all you have to do is drive it, you can allso run a report on the vin# or call Honda or any parts store can tell you what engine should be in the car by it.

Well, REAL Sis have rear disc brakes... all other stock civics have rear drums, the head rests in the Si have a hole in the center instead of being solid like the EX and what not. The gageues on the dash are black/grey (almost carbon fiber looking) with the Si emblem on it. The tach redlines at 8K and stops at 9... ummmm... what else... oh, and the ENGINE. Look at the short block for the "B16A2" stamp.... the eaiser way to see is to look for the black DOHC VTEC valve cover, tho thats easy and comon for ricers to put on SOHC civics.
how would a ricer ever be able to put a DOHC VTEC Valve cover on a SOHC motor? The head isn't nearly big enough, You wouldn't be able to seal the head off.
Si's have SI interior, rear disc brakes, leather shift **** and steering wheel, EBP paint in USDM models, DOHC B16A2 motor, Si Rims, Front lip, body colored molding, different grill....
