I would like suggestions on 60,000 miles maintenance for my Honda Civic EX, specifically related to transmission fluid change & timing belt/water pump replacement. This would be first time for both. Also appreciate suggestions on other items. Repairs so far in 17 yrs. Muffler replaced, Oxygen Sensor, gear shifter cable replaced, driver side window motor replaced, brake pads, spark plugs, brake system fluid flushed. Owners manual suggests timing belt at 105,000; I don't know if age of car impacts belt. I keep up with oil changes, and car repair shop checks belts, etc. Car is in excellent condition with excellent gas mileage. So many recommend transmission fluid change on this site at every 30,000 so I feel, even though car runs well, the fluid change will help keep in running well. Comments appreciated.
