Post Engine Swap or Engine Rebuild?

I've been reading up and trying to take in suggestions and recommendations from many sources but I do overthink things and probably go to the deep end on many ideas. Before I can really start a parts list and start hunting...I've been debating whether to
Build up the D16Y7 then boost
OR buy the Y8 I found at a yard then build & boost
OR pull the top end off of said Y8 to do a mini-me swap then boost (mmm ).
Why do I want to boost? I'm sure this will
come up- It's fun. IN MODERATION! Was thinking around +-7 psi.
I'm not wanting to break land speed records.
I'm not building a track only car.
Seeing like 200 whp for a DD would make me pretty happy lol
Suppose I just have a wild hair with this Honda build I guess.
One of the key factors that I am sure will get a WTF or two
is that I want it to be auto. I drive a stick just fine BUT I got used to my
old GS-T that was auto. That car was a blast. D for go, I didn't miss gears or granny shift, and I never had to deal
with hills-- everywhere I've lived is up hill both directions. And with all the stop n go traffic here... no thanks.
Just had surgery on my feet, probably well over a year before I could be comfortable enough with 3 pedals again.
Most of the stuff I've read has been from 2008 or 2013- just want to see what people's experiences have been, a lot has
had a chance to change in the last 4 years.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions/recommendations.
