Hey everyone, I'm new to civic forums. I've been on Team-integra Forums for a good while when i was building my DC2. Anywhoo i just picked up a $500 **** box EJ6 with 174k miles on the dirty girl. It's inspected and mechanically sound, mostly needs body work which i plan on doing while driving the car and building a B18C or C5 or C1 depending on my budget and what i can find.

I haven't done anything but clean up and remove as much curb rash as possible from the wheels and plasti dip them until i can get something a bit nicer in the future. The previous owner attempted a 00' front end swap but never finished it (needs 00' Fenders & hood) and a 00' radio bezel conversion with electric climate control instead of the 97 wire mechanism but never swapped the blower motor or harness for the 00 conversion so i have no heat and fall is here .
My plans for this car are to finish the front end swap, replace the 00' bezel with an oem 97 bezel and climate controls. From there i'll be on the lookout for a GSR or Type R Engine for a turbo build. I'm going to hydroblast the body & rust and weld in new quarter panels myself and have a reputable paint shop take care of the paint since i lack a booth. I'm still looking into what i plan to do with the engine. This is going to be my first turbo build and i've got more research to do for F/I. I did a complete bottom end rebuild on my GSR but didnt have the budget to go with a turbo setup.
