I have a 6th generation Civic Sedan with base engine/automatic transmission.

I has a lot of miles and a number of issues. I have oil leaks in both the front and rear seals. At some point I will get to the front seal. I'm not so sure about the rear seal. For the time being I would like to install a steel pan or maybe a couple and put some oil absorbant pads in them.

However, at the moment the whole exhaust system has rotted off from the converter down. I'd like to install the oil drip catch pans first, but, I need to know the distance the exhaust pipe is from both of the front tires and how much clearance there is between the top of the exhaust and the oil pan.

I'm aware of 6th gen Civics at some used car lots across town, but, nothing nearby. I imagine I could just look around in parking lots and find one, but, I'd prefer not to do it to a strangers car.

Can anyone help me out?
