Re: Will ek belts fit my coupe

Lol I did say it was a coupe I have and a hatch the belts were from I figured sixth gen kinda covered sixth gen so I didn't think it was too important to get bogged down by the model year.
Donor is a 97 dx hatch silver
My car is a 2000 ex coupe clover green

. I just was trying to keep it short and simple for whomever read the post.

I was offered them for free from a buddy while I was at the bar. Figured worth a shot either way I'll pick them up tomorrow and let it be known to all.

Re: Will ek belts fit my coupe

According to right honda parts .com they have different part numbers. I'll try anyway but it looks like the back seats will not be interchangeable.

Thanks for the tools to search ez.

Re: Will ek belts fit my coupe

Probably read the title and assumed it was an engine belt question and just wasn't looking for anything but that. It's kind of how the brain works. We process very little of what we see. And assume the rest. I should have written seat belt in the title I didn't think about other types.

Re: Will ek belts fit my coupe

That's exactly what I did. I saw that and had accessory belts in my head as I skimmed the actual post looking for the years of the cars.

Anyway.... Looked up SEAT belts, there are far too many choices lit up for a quick answer in my catalog.

Re: Will ek belts fit my coupe

Yea three colors, four corners, three models. That's thirty six variables. If they don't fit I'm going to try putting the dark grey belt I bought into my coupes retractor and move forward. What crazy is that people are asking 80$ a piece for used seat belts. When I've finished my interior swap and have sold off everything I'm going to share my findings on used part prices. I was blown away by what people pay for some silly pieces. The biggest shock was when I sold a set of sun visors from a 2000 coupe for 97$ on ebay just a penny auction. Either way I'm just trying to find a cheap solution to my silver seat belts.
