This is a two part question:
Does anyone have experience with Function and Form type 1 coilovers? and does anyone know where I can rent a spring compressor? Shops charge up the *** for coilover installs, and watching some videos on youtube, it seems all I need is a socket set, jack, jack stands, and some time. I found brand new type 1's on ebay for about $550. So yes, $500-$600 is my price range.

The tool you need to remove the spring is only 50 dollars.

I cant really say how well the coilovers are, but i have yet to read anything seriously negative about them.

My friend works on cars at home and recently bought a spring compressor. So the two of us are going to be doing it. I f/f type 1's on ebay for $545 shipped
