Engine swap B20 or B18

Have an 99' coupe not sure if I should do a B20 or B18 swap. I want to know which generates more hp and torque and basically which is fastest for my car.
Also if you could list the parts i would need on the side of the engine swap that would be very helpful.
Thanks appreciate it

if your looking for the most power and torque theres the b18c6. nice fat 195hp from a type r. thats my dream swap. or a c5. any b18 are nice really im not big into the b20s. they dont have vtec either. all b18c engines have vtec. id go with one of those. all comes down to how much you can spend and where you can get it. good luck getting a c6.

Re: Engine swap B20 or B18

if your looking at base model b18 they are garbage unless you spend cash for like a B18C

A b20 is nice since it has a lot of bottom end torque, who needs vtec anyways its honestly just noise.

but if want somthing nice do an LS/VTEC but use a b20 bottom end in stead of a b18 (more torque) and bolt a B16 head on it. cheap and lots of power and you have vtec

blackworks makes a conversion kit for the b20 vtec pretty cheap too

but even a plain B20 with simple mods like fuel , fuel rail, Intake header exhaust matched with a Si or GSR tranny would haul *** especially if its an LSD tranny
